Habit: Tree, up to 20 m tall; branchlets bright whitsh. Leaves: Leaves alternate, broadly ovate-cordate, 4.5 - 6 x 4 - 11, cordate at base, entire at margin, acuminatecaudate at apex, shiny, glabrous; 6 - 9-pairs; petiole up to 8 cm lon. Stipule deltoid, acuminate at apex, 1.2 cm long, yellowish-brown. Hypanthoidia, solitary, axillary, ovoid-globose, 1.5 cm across, yellowish-greenish, glabresent; basal bracts ovate-elliptic, 05 mm long. Flower: Male flowers sessile. Tepals 2 - 3, free, ovatelanceolate to oblong, ca. 0.6 mm long. Stamens 1; filament short, 0.2 mm long; anther ovoid-oblong. Female flowers and gall flowers pedicellate. Tepals 3 - 4, lanceolate. Fruit: Ovary oblong-ovoid; 1-loculed-ovules1; style filiform, ca. 1.2 mm long; stigma sessile. Figs golose, ca. 1 cm across, dark-purple. | |
