Botanical Distribution	Herb: Evergreen, woody, perennial broadleaf tree. Leaves: leaves are alternate, 7-60 cm long, tripinnately compound with each pinnate bearing 4-6 pairs of leaflets that are dark green, elliptical to obovate, and 1-2 cm in length. Flower: Axillary panicles. Calyx: Calyx tubular, 5-lobed, green. Corolla: Corolla 5, oblong-spathulate, 1–2 cm long, unequal, with largest erect and others reflexed. Fruit: Fruit is typically a 3-valved capsule, up to 10 to 60 cm in length, and it is also often identified as a “pod,”. Seeds: Dark brown, globular seeds with a diameter around 1 cm.
Flowering and Fruiting	April to June.
