Habit: Tree, up to 10 m tall; bark black. Leaves : Pinnatly compound, paripinnate; leaflets opposite, 8 - 14-pairs, oblong-oblonceolate, rounded at base, entire at margin, retuse-emarginate at apex, glabrous; ca. 17-pairs; petiole 04 mm long. Stipule small, deciduous. Panicles terminal, branching corymbose. Flowers: Yellow; pedicel, minutely pubescent; bracts oblong, sharply acuminate at apex, pubescent. Calyx-lobe 5, outer ovate-oblong, inner ovate. Petals 5, obovate. Stamens 10, 2 longest, 5 medium size, 3-short; filament subflattened; anther lanceolate, 06 - 08 mm long, purple. Ovary flattened, pubescent; 1-loculed; ovules many; style flat; stigma obtuse. Fruit: Pods lanceolate, thickened, apiculate at apex; Seeds: seeds, oblong, shiny. | |
