Leaves: compound, stipules inconspicuous; leaflets 16 pairs;oblong; petiolate Flower: Globose Head, pedicillate umbelliform, bracteate, perianth glabrous,Calyx is cam-panulate, Corolla is purplish; five lobes, Androecium: conspicuous stamens, filaments monocyclic, Gynoecium: glabrous ovary ,bisexual flowers, Calyx: green Calyx is cam-panulate Corolla: Corolla is purplish with five lobes Fruit: broadly linear, flattened, pubescent, dehiscent pods and brown in colour. Seeds: ellipsoid, flattened and mottled dark brown in colour
