Our motto is to tap the inherent talents and potentials of the student community at all levels of life pinning them on the talents in oration, dance, verse scribing, rangoli, drawing, essay making, vocal, culinary, (cooking) and all other talents. Our institution intends to uphold the relative merits of the students and to expose them to the higher order society who would in turn bring laurels to the institution by constant motivation and encouragement.

Students are highly motivated to take part in various competitions at regional, district and national levels and also from college level to university level.

The Association for old boys also regularly conducts yearly talent shows to exhibit the talents of the students. The winner is honoured with an ever rolling shield.

Rhythms of VHNSN college is a well constructed music group which ever sings melodies to the ears of the listeners. It has Electronic musical instruments , talented singers, players of musical instruments and so on. Particularly it involves student community for regular practice twice a week in which students eagerly participate with enthusiasm.

'Rhythms' orchestrates many concerts within the city and outside the city and most notably in the exhibition conducted by KVS Managing Board. Rhythms can be eared even during NSS Camps, college days and other remarkable days and events.
